Origin & historyThe Retriever (Nova Scotia Duck Tolling) comes from Canada. The FCI places it in Group 8 (Retrievers, Flushing & Water Dogs): breeds bred to retrieve and flush game, often from water.
Grooming & careHigh: dense double coat sheds heavily. Brush often and never shave it, as the coat also shields from sun.

Some breeds and their crosses are restricted or banned in parts of the UAE. Check your municipality's rules before buying or importing a dog.
